Starlooks Makeup Box Review

You know me and makeup, I am addicted! I love to try new things and makeup products, especially when they aren’t so darn expensive! I hate when you try something new and spent a fortune to only find that you hate it! That’s why I am so glad that I had the chance to review the awesome Starlooks makeup monthly subscription box!

Starlooks is a company that is dedicated in bringing you a wonderful monthly box filled with incredible new beauty and makeup products! In each Starlooks box you get 3-4 full-sized beauty products! That’s right, full size! Not these “deluxe samples” that other companies try and say are worth the money you are paying. I hate to say it but yes, I have tried those boxes and was completely disappointed as to what I actually got and was able to use. The Starlooks box is so refreshing! Along with the full size products, Starlooks is affordable! For only $15.oo a month, you get at least $35 in makeup! Only $15? With that price, this beauty box can fit into any budget! I spend more than that on my powder compact alone, and I have to buy that at least every other week!

The Starlooks box that I received was for the month of January. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! I am a sucker for mint green, so I kept the box and am using it to hold my earring studs.  Inside the January box, I received The “Fancy” Diamond Eye Liner, “Brown” Eye Liner, “Cuty Peach” Blush Compact, 858 Dome Brush, and an added bonus of a Abby Rose Designs green emerald bracelet!

 The first thing I want to talk about is this gorgeous bracelet! I love the emerald green color and the beadwork is just amazing! I personally have never heard about Abby Rose Designs, but after seeing this beautiful beadwork I just had to look at their other craftwork! For a limited time you can even get your hands on this bracelet for only $15.00 from the Starlooks website or at the Abby Rose Designs store. 

Next, let’s talk about this gorgeous peachy blush! The “Cuty Peach” blush compact is a great, super pigmented and saturated color. As you can see in my swatches, this color is an amazing soft pink perfect for any skin tone! A little of this color definitely goes a long way, so you know it will last and last! I personally think this color will look great this coming spring for a nice, pretty glow!

The eye liners were also quite alluring! The “Brown” Eye Liner is a silky, creamy color that goes on very smooth! I usually use gel or liquid liners because I hate how pencils pull on my eye, but these proved their worth! They go on great with just one swipe, no need to go over and over to achieve that dark, saturated color! This smudge-proof eye liner also can be used as a shadow base or coloring your entire lid for a creamy shadow! This is perfect for my natural, everyday look! The “Fancy” Eye Liner was also a unique and silky liner! It is such a great metallic, light green color that will go great as a shadow base or to highlight your great eyeshadow look It goes on just as smooth and glides along your lashes with ease. I also love that it is water proof and has this great sparkle to it! I can’t wait to play with it on all my different eye shadows!

The 858 Dome Brush is made from 100% pure, cruelty-free pony hair. It is a great brush to blend your shadows or even add some smokey eyed creases! It is super soft to the touch and picks up my shadows great. It really is a neat little eye shadow brush and a girl can never have to many makeup brushes!

Overall, Starlooks monthly subscription boxes get 5 stars from me! Not only did I receive 3 full-sized products to add to my makeup collection, but I also got a makeup brush and a great piece to add to my jewelry box! I really hope to see some lip products in the next box. Maybe that is just the makeup junkee in me.
